Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Pat the excess moisture off each pickle spear so the bacon sticks better using a paper towel. You can use whole pickles and slice your own. Depending on the size, slice in half or in quarters.
Wrap each spear with a slice of bacon. If your pickles are on the smaller side, go ahead and cut the bacon in half. However, the bacon will shrink as it cooks. Secure the bacon strips with a toothpick if needed.
Place seam side down on a baking sheet fitted with a wire rack. If you don’t have a wire rack, you can use a parchment paper lined baking sheet, but the results will be better if you use the wire rack. This allows the heat to get all the way around the pickle appetizer.
Bake for 30 minutes until your bacon is crispy and golden.
Serve warm. If you used toothpicks to hold the bacon in place, remove those before serving.
