Ingredients

  • 1 Box Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar for Rolling Cookie Dough
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips or another flavor (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • In a mixing bowl add the eggs, oil, and vanilla.
    2 Large Eggs, 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil, 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Add the cake mix and optional chocolate chips.

  • Just mix by hand until well incorporated. Just a minute or two. Chill dough for 20 minutes for easier handling. However, if you are short on time, you can make the cookie dough balls with a cookie scoop without chilling. The dough will be a bit soft to work with.

  • Use a cookie scoop to make to make the dough balls.

  • Roll the cookie dough in the powdered sugar.
    1 Cup Powdered Sugar

  • Place on cookie sheet approximately 2-inches apart. I used a non-stick liner, you can use parchment paper too. Makes for easy clean-up with no sticking.

  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until center isjust set.
  • Remove from pans after a minute or so and cool on wire racks.
