Pro Tips for a Perfect Party Punch
Pro Tip. I like to add ice cubes to the individual glasses and add the Christmas punch to the cup filled with ice. If you add the ice to the punch, it can quickly become watered down. You could use an ice ring to keep the cranberry punch chilled. It will take longer to melt than smaller ice cubes.Chill the ingredients before mixing.Make ahead of time and add fresh fruit to the punch for even more flavor. This can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Just make sure to refrigerate. Wait to add the lemon-lime soda until just before serving. Otherwise, the punch will go flat.Other Fruit Juices. You can add 1 1/2 cups of another juice for even more flavor to this punch. Here are a few we have tried and enjoyed, pineapple juice, orange juice, and pomegranate juice.
Can you Add Alcohol to this Fruit Punch?
Yes, while this recipe is written to be non-alcoholic, it can easily be changed into a cocktail. If you want to add it per glass, just add 1.5 ounces of vodka to the glass before filling with the punch. Looking to spike the whole punch bowl? Add up to 2 cups of vodka.
