Pattern Notes
Crochet pattern is written in US Terms. The first round of crochet stitches are worked around the elastic hair tie.You can stop after round one or continue on to round two for a wider crochet ruffle on the hair scrunchie. When weaving in the yarn ends, try and weave them up and down close to the starting and ending stitches. This way, they will not pull out when the hair elastic tie is stretched out. When securing the bulky weight yarn ends, I just weaved the ending yarn close to the beginning yarn. Tie a square knot and snip off the excess yarn. There is no need to turn at the end of each round.
Crochet Stitches
Treble Crochet Stitch Yarn over twice, insert the hook through both loops and pull up a loop. Next, yarn over and pull through two loops on the hook. Yarn over again and pull through the next two loops. Lastly, yarn over again and pull through the last two loops on the hook.Right hand crochet video: https://youtu.be/4yWK4NUFz9ULeft hand crochet video: https://youtu.be/1kN0sK14U_0
