Cheddar Bay Biscuit Directions
Or you can just make the Cheddar Biscuits right away. Here's how.
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, garlic powder, and salt.
Add the cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Careful not to overmix.
Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop about 1/4 cup of dough onto the prepared baking sheet for each biscuit.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
While the biscuits are baking, melt the butter in a small bowl. Stir in the garlic powder and dried parsley.
As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush them generously with the garlic butter topping.
