Chunky Christmas Round Placemat

Instructions
- Use the Cincinnati Red.1 Skein Lion Brand Hometown USA Yarn
- Begin with a magic circle.
- Round 1
- CH 3. This counts as the first DC in the magic circle. 11 DC in the magic circle. SL ST to join into top CH of the first CH 3 to close. (12 DC)
- Pull the yarn tail from the magic circle to tighten and close the circle in the magic circle.
- Round 2
- CH 3 (Counts as a DC). 1 DC in same ST. 2 DC in each ST around. SL ST to join into top CH of the first CH 3 to close. (24 DC)
- Round 3
- CH 3 (Counts as a DC). 2 DC in next ST. [1 DC in the next ST, 2 DC in the next ST]. Repeat between [ ] around. SL ST to join into top CH of the first CH 3 to close. (36 DC)
- Round 4
- CH 3 (Counts as a DC). 1 DC in next ST, 2 DC in the next ST. [1 DC in the next ST, 1 DC in the next ST, 2 DC in the next ST]. Repeat between [ ] around. SL ST to join into top CH of the first CH 3 to close. (48 DC)
- Round 5
