Sweet Potato Mixture
Peel and wash the sweet potatoes and cut them into 1-2 inch pieces.
4 Medium to Large Sweet Potatoes
Add the sweet potatoes to a pot of water and cook over medium heat until tender.
Drain the sweet potatoes and mash them with a hand mixer on low or use a large blender or food processor for this step
Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, salt, and butter. Beat on low speed until well combined.
¼ Cup Granulated Sugar, ½ Cup Brown Sugar, 2 Large Eggs, ½ Cup Milk, ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon, ½ Teaspoon Nutmeg, ½ Teaspoon Salt, 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract, 1/2 Cup Butter
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Topping
In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, melted butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly.
