Shawl in a Ball Crochet Shawl
This lovely shawl was made with just one skein of yarn. I just love the look and feel of this yearn. The colors are so complimentary and when paired with an easy double crochet stitch, the yarn just shines through.
Asymmetrical Crochet Shawl Detail
In the photo above, it really shows how the shawl starts narrowly and grows on an angel wider as you add rows of crochet. The colors changed with the variegated colors of the yarn, so there are only two yarn tails to weave in and trim off.
Easy Crochet Stitches for a Light Shawl
This shawl is light and airy. Achieve this look with double crochet and chain stitches. Even if you have never made a shawl before, this is one pattern that can be mastered.

Pattern Notes
This pattern starts off with an initial 12 rows of crochet. After that, rows 9-12 are repeated until the desired length and width is reached or the skein of yarn is gone.
This is an asymmetrical shawl; therefore, the increase is only done on one side of the shawl. Here is a closer photo showing how the increase in stitches happens on just one side.
