Breakfast Mocktail
What I love about non-alcoholic brunch drinks is the ability for the entire family to enjoy. Young and old alike love the taste and when it is served in a special glass, even better. It just makes the moments together more memorable.
Make your Breakfast Orange Juice Drink Attractive
Look in the back of your cupboards and pull out those pretty glasses of all shapes and sizes.
Add a beautiful garnish to make the drink pop.
Today, I used black raspberries and slices of oranges. Other great options for a garnish are
Slices of lemon or lime
Fresh fruit such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, or maraschino cherries, they can be placed on the rim of the glass or added to the beverage for a tasty treat at the end.
Fresh herbs can add a bit of background taste and beauty as well. I have added fresh mint as a garnish, and I like the subtle taste it adds too.
Make this beverage with or without ice. Personally, I prefer the ice, while my daughter prefers no ice. Serve this in a variety of easy ways and your guests will keep coming back for more.
Fresh or Frozen Orange Juice
I have made this recipe using fresh squeezed, fresh orange juice in a container, and frozen orange juice. All work well for this recipe. The fresh squeezed to us tastes the best, but it is time consuming. Therefore, often we opt for bottles of fresh orange juice with no pulp.
Make your Own Grenadine Syrup
It really takes no time at all hardly to make your own syrup. Here is our easy recipe and it is great for making a bit larger batch if you are entertaining a crowd.
This is made ahead of time, and it is made using pomegranate juice and sugar. You can make a large batch if you are going to feed a crowd for brunch and store this in the refrigerator until needed.
Grenadine syrup is something that can be purchased if you prefer. I will have a link for you in the recipe.
