Learn How to Make No-Bake Chocolate Lasagna

Oreo Cookies. Get the package of the regular – not the double stuff. The package should have 36 cookies. When crushed, this will make approximately 3 cups of crushed cookies. I like to use a food processor. However, before I had one, I would put half of the cookies in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies. The food processor does a better job of getting the cookie pieces small.

Melted Butter. The melted butter is combined with the crushed cookies and pressed into a 9 X 13 baking pan. Place this in the refrigerator to set up while you are making the next layer.

Adding the Creamy Cheese Layer

Cream Cheesecake Layer. This layer is like a no-bake cheesecake. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Fold in cool whip and spread this over the cookie crust. Place back in the refrigerator and continue with the next layer.

Adding the Pudding Layer
Adding the Pudding Layer

Chocolate Pudding Layer. Whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and the milk until it starts to thicken. Spread this over the cream cheese layer and return to the refrigerator for approximately 10 minutes.

Cool Whip Layer. The final layer is cool whip.

Tasty and Decorative Toppings. Today, I used some of the reserved crushed Oreo cookies. However, here are a few other ideas for you.

Crushed toffee pieces, mini chocolate, butterscotch, or mint chips, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder dusting, or drizzle some flavor topping such as caramel, chocolate, or strawberry. Other topping ideas such as finely cut up candy bars or fresh fruit like strawberries would be wonderful.

Easily make this simple dessert fancy.

Serve it in individual cups or mugs. Just layer in the ingredients. Top with whipped topping and other scrumptious topping ideas and serve. See the pretty example.
