Turtle candies are my favorite chocolate to have during the holiday and these are equally delicious too. While I have not done a price comparison, I would think that you can make a lot more of these wonderful little nuggets for the same price you would pay for the Turtle candies.

Where have these delicious snacks been all my life?
My sister-in-law made these chocolate, caramel, pretzel, and pecan snack for the holidays this year. Normally, I am the only one making these goodies to snack on. It is so nice to have new ideas for holiday favorites.

Well, at the end of the holiday season, these cute little snacks were completely gone. Had to ask her how to make them since they were gobbled up so quickly. I am sharing this recipe with you, so you can make them for your holiday gathering too.

Easy Christmas Candy
This Holiday candy is just the perfect recipe to make with your children. It is a fun activity that the whole family can get involved in.
Just line a cookie sheet with some foil for easy clean up,and place the pretzels on the sheet in rows.
Unwrap the caramel-filled chocolates and place one on each of the pretzels.
You could be done at this point; however, the addition of one pecan to the top of the chocolate candy, just puts this easy recipe over the top for me.

That is it. The delicious little candies are ready to go in the oven just a few minutes.
Remove, let cool and enjoy.

It is so hard to just have one of these scrumptious gems. It has just the right amount of chocolate and caramel with a hint of salt and little bit of crunch too. Just a delightfully good recipe to make at the Holidays.

Rolo Pretzel Turtles
Kitchen Essentials
Ingredients
- 24 Pretzels mini pretzel
- 24 Rolo Rolo candies
- 24 Pecan Halves buy the toasted ones or toast them in the oven for about 7 minutes in the oven on 350 degrees on a cookie sheet.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
On a baking sheet, arrange the pretzels in a single layer.
Unwrap and place a Rolo on top of each pretzel. Sometimes it is nice to put this on tin foil for easy clean up.
Place in the oven for 3-4 minutes. (if you leave this in too long, the chocolate and caramel will be too runny). I would start with 3 minutes. - Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and place a pecan half on top of each Rolo, making sure to push down just a bit. Place somewhere cool to let the Rolo firm. Store in an airtight container in a cool place. Enjoy.
