Ramen Noodle Beef Teriyaki Ingredients
Olive Oil. This is added to the skillet just before adding the ground beef. Since I like to use a lean ground beef, it helps the meat not stick to the pan.
Ground Beef. I like to use ground beef. Why? The meat can be cooked quickly without worrying about getting a tough cut of meat soft. I also think it is easier to eat if you are feeding young family members, it is easier for them to eat. Further, the ground meat breaks apart into tiny pieces and just seems to mix with the teriyaki sauce a bit better. This is nice when you want to have it stick to the noodles a bit better.
Onion. Any onion will work well for this recipe; red, yellow, white, Vidalia.
Ginger. If you have fresh ginger go ahead and use that. To be honest, I use the kind that comes in a squeeze tube. It is quick and easy.
Garlic. I used minced garlic from a jar; however, if you have fresh that is even better. Garlic just amps up the flavors in this skillet recipe.
Teriyaki Sauce. I like to use a good tasting thick sauce. It just takes seconds to add this pre-made sauce.
Green Onion. Slice thin and use as a garnish if desired. I like the extra little crunch.
Sesame Seeds. You can garnish with this out of the container or lightly toasted to help bring out their sweet and nutty flavor.
