Many have been passed down through the generations. For instance, the English Toffee is from my great, great grandmother. I have updated the flavors and made it fool-proof, but the original recipe has been in our family for a very long time. There are stories we tell through food, each one a spark for creativity in the kitchen.

Quick Peanut Butter Balls

Quick Peanut Butter Balls

Lots of peanut butter and chocolate taste. Only cooking required is melting the chocolate in the microwave. This recipe is requested at the holidays. 2 ½ Cups powdered sugar
2 Cups crushed graham crackers (can purchase this in a box or use a food processor to crush them fine)
24 oz. peanut butter, any kind. (I prefer Jiff or Skippy creamy)
¼ lb. soft butter (1 stick)

Sweet Pepper Soup _ Stuffed Peppers

Sweet Pepper Soup

30 minutes cooking. I prep the vegetables while the hamburger is cooking to save time. I also turn off the soup once it is boiling and let the rice continue cooking in the hot soup.
Ingredients:
1 Tbl. Oil
4-5 Lbs. of Hamburger (I prefer Ground Chuck)
1-10 ¾ oz. can of Campbell’s Tomato Soup
1-14.5 oz. can of Diced Tomatoes (not drained)
